By accessing or using the Kora platform (“Service”), operated by Kora Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kora is an AI-powered knowledge base platform that allows you to upload documents, ask questions in natural language, and receive answers backed by verifiable citations from your own data.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Upload or transmit content that infringes on third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service (“Your Data”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We do not sell Your Data to third parties.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service generates AI responses based on your uploaded documents. These responses are backed by citations but should be verified for critical decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for how you use the information provided.

7. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Free tiers and trial periods may be offered at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kora Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
